Qualifying selections: eligible pre-trip, backing and road services, Class A or Class B test-vehicle rental, and Customer Resources access, subject to the current purchase threshold and written offer terms.
ELDT is a separate activity. Qualifying purchases do not establish completion. All applicable instruction, documented proficiency and eligibility requirements must be satisfied. One-day availability and next-day testing depend on prerequisites, required disclosures, training needs, vehicles and Texas DPS appointments; neither timing nor a passing result is guaranteed. Travel, licensing fees and other separately priced items are additional.

CHOOSE WITH CONFIDENCE. VERIFY THE DETAILS.
FMCSA has removed thousands of training providers from its registry and has identified failures involving curriculum, qualifications and records. That makes careful provider selection essential.
Price alone does not establish quality. Look for complete instruction, meaningful assessments, accessible support and proper electronic completion reporting—not simply an attractive certificate.
Verify the provider and the exact training type you need, and review any notices.
Review curriculum, assessment, access, support and refund terms before enrolling.
A printed certificate does not replace the electronic TPR record used for licensing.

Abilene drivers can begin theory at home and separate a local DPS appointment from vehicle time in Royse City. If an employer in the Big Country expects you to haul equipment, ask how heavy the loaded combination is rated and whether the job calls for a manual tractor.
For a first Class A or B CDL, a B-to-A upgrade, or a first passenger or school bus endorsement, covered applicants need both theory and behind-the-wheel training. A first hazardous materials endorsement requires ELDT theory before the knowledge exam.

A traditional multiweek school is not the only possible route. Covered applicants must still complete all applicable ELDT with appropriately listed providers and meet Texas licensing requirements. Self-study does not replace required instructor-led behind-the-wheel training. Your experience determines whether a focused preparation route is suitable.
There is no universal savings amount or completion deadline. Compare your actual school quote with all selected services, theory, travel, lodging, medical, permit and test costs. Some experienced applicants may save thousands, while people who need extensive instruction may benefit from a fuller program. Test availability and required waiting periods also affect timing.
That may be possible for some well-prepared, experienced applicants with completed prerequisites and suitable appointment availability. Your required training and documented proficiency come first. Customers who need more instruction or practice will need additional time, and Texas DPS test availability is outside our control. Call for a realistic plan based on your situation.
Ask about the current qualifying combination of pre-trip, backing and road services, Class A or Class B test-vehicle rental, and Customer Resources access. The offer has a purchase threshold, eligibility requirements and separate written terms. Required range and road instruction and demonstrated proficiency must be completed; purchasing services alone does not establish ELDT completion.

No. ELDT Theory Now is a separate online theory program listed in the FMCSA Training Provider Registry under its own name. Enrollment, coursework and theory completion are handled through ELDTTheoryNow.com. Get Your CDL Quick’s vehicle rental and in-person services are arranged separately.
No. Online theory is one component. Covered Class A, Class B, Passenger and School Bus applicants also need applicable behind-the-wheel range and public-road training. First-time HazMat ELDT is theory only. Neither a course purchase nor a certificate issues a CDL.
No. The applicable training certification must be reported electronically to the Training Provider Registry. FMCSA says providers must submit it by midnight of the second business day after successful completion. Use the official Check Your Record page to verify your record.
Confirm the provider's current TPR listing, course type, notices, curriculum, assessments, reporting process and written terms. A low price is not proof of poor quality, and an elaborate certificate is not proof of compliance. FMCSA does not approve or certify providers.
